“Pauline the Pumpkin”

Pauline the pumpkin was a teeny seed
Couldn’t see or hear, she couldn’t write or read
but she grew up quickly and by early fall
She was the prettiest pumpkin of them all

Oooo Pauline the Pumpkin
Oooo Pauline the Pumpkin
Oooo Pauline the Pumpkin
Was the prettiest pumpkin of them all

Pauline the Pumpkin didn’t catch their eye
When they came to pick a pumpkin
for their pumpkin pie
Cause she hid behind someone
who was wide and tall
he was the handsomest pumpkin of them all

Oooo Duncan the Pumpkin
Oooo Duncan the Pumpkin
Whoa he sure was something
the handsomest pumpkin of them all

Now Duncan the Pumpkin was three feet wide
And his foliage was such a cozy place to hide
And with the great big harvest moon up above
Guess what? They fell in love.

That’s love light a burning in their pumpkin eyes
And they are smiling now cause
Duncan won the pumpkin prize
See them sitting in the window Duncan and Pauline
Wishing you a very merry, scary halloween

Oooo Pauline the Pumpkin
Oooo Duncan the Pumpkin
Oh Pauline and Duncan
Wishing you a very merry, scary halloween
